Registered Physiotherapist – Pelvic Health
Tiffaney Marlow graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Science from McMaster University in 2009 and continued with her studies, receiving a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto in 2011. She has been working in Ontario as a Registered Physiotherapist, mainly in outpatient orthopaedic clinics. She has taken a particular interest in women’s health which has led her down the path of pelvic floor physiotherapy.
Committed to providing individualized and quality patient care, Tiffaney has continued to expand her skill set by taking a number of post-graduate courses. She has completed courses in Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy through Pelvic Health Solutions. Tiffaney is also Bone Fit certified from Osteoporosis Canada, has taken Fascial Stretch Therapy and has continued study in manual and manipulative therapy. She has also included acupuncture to her skill set, completing the McMaster University Contemporary Medical Acupuncture program. Tiffaney uses these skills in a multimodal approach to meet her patient’s individualized needs and goals. Most importantly, Tiffaney’s goal is to educate her patient’s about their condition to empower them in their own active recovery, to improve their health, well-being and quality of life.
Tiffaney is a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and some of its local districts, including the Central Toronto District and the Orthopaedic Division, she helps to organize educational opportunities for Physiotherapists as well as provide information sessions to the general public.
Tiffaney’s commitment to fitness and healthy living is reflected in her personal life as she enjoys salsa dancing, road cycling and resistance training in her free time.
