Registered Massage Therapist
Anna Skura works with individuals to treat, manage and support their pelvic and abdominal health. She is passionate about supporting people through different phases of their lives by creating the space to witness holding patterns in the body and address Musculoskeletal and Connective Tissue restriction. Anna has extensive experience working with a wide range of chronic pelvic conditions such as endometriosis, chronic digestive issues, fibromyalgia and menstrual disturbances.
Anna received her education at Sutherland Chan School and Teaching Clinic where she completed one of her clinical placements in Sunnybrook’s high risk pregnancy unit. As a Registered Massage Therapist, Anna continues to deepen her knowledge through continuing education in fields such as Visceral Manipulation, Craniosacral Therapy, Alexander Technique and Maya Arvigo Abdominal Massage.
Anna’s approach to working with the body has also been informed by her international training in classical music, performance and mindfulness based practices. She believes that abdominal care can have a profound impact on the body, mind and heart. Central to her practice is the understanding that the most powerful tool available to practitioners is intent and presence. She looks forward to working together with her clients to create an individualized treatment plan.
