Hevy graduated from the Assaulted Women’s and Children’s Counselling and Advocate Program in 2010 at George Brown College. She started her counselling career working
at a sexual health clinic focusing on reproductive rights of women and eventually ventured into administrative work within different health fields. She has volunteered in several non-profit organizations, ranging from youth groups to women’s shelters.
Hevy’s passion stems from wanting to give back to those in need and to those without voices. To empower and provide support in order to create a positive change. She has always believed that it only takes one person to create change. No matter where Hevy is, she does her best to uphold her values in helping others in order to provide a safe and accessible environment.
