PART TIME MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST
Purpose of the Position: To provide secretarial and administrative support to the practitioners of Proactive Pelvic Health Centre (PPHC)

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Greet all clients and assist as required (ie: those with mobility limitations, infants or children)
-Receive, direct and relay telephone, fax and email messages
-Answer all phone calls and take messages, book client appointments
-Use of electronic medical record documentation and online scheduling systems
-Invoice clients and receive payments
-Fax and mail doctors letters and any other correspondence required by practitioners
-Assist with practitioner filing and photocopying

Skills Required:
-ability to work independently and in a team environment
-excellent customer service
-organization and ability to multi-task
-effective verbal and listening communication skills
-computer skills to be able to use accounting software, scheduling system, email, word processing and social media
-excellent time management skills

Education:
-minimum post-secondary education in administration or related field

 

REGISTERED MASSAGE THERAPIST OR OSTEOPATH
We are looking for a part time Registered Massage Therapist or Osteopath to join our experienced team of pelvic health practitioners and to work alongside our current RMT on staff. A therapist with experience and training in cranio-sacral and visceral manipulation; as well as an interest in treating chronic (pelvic) pain, post abdomino-pelvic surgery and the pre and postnatal population would be of benefit.

Education and Registration:
-Licensed to practice in Ontario as either a Registered Massage Therapist or Osteopath
-Two years experience as a RMT in Ontario preferred

 

REGISTERED PHYSIOTHERAPIST – PELVIC HEALTH
Are you a dedicated pelvic health physiotherapist looking to join a multi-disciplinary team? Then look no further! Our clinic offers comfortable and well equipped private treatment rooms, flexible scheduling, administrative support and electronic medical record keeping. Mentorship, collaboration with other allied health practitioners and in-house education are some extra highlights to working with the PPHC team.

Education and Registration:
• Have completed pelvic health training courses in incontinence, pelvic pain and central sensitization (Level 1-3 Pelvic Health Solutions or equivalent)
• Be registered and rostered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario to performed internal pelvic floor assessment and treatment
• Provide evidence-based assessment and treatment for pelvic conditions
• 2 years of experience in pelvic health and orthopaedic physiotherapy is an asset
